Call for Abstracts
Resus @ the Harbour 2018 (R@TH 2018) will take place from 17-19 September at the International Convention Centre Sydney, encompassing skills workshops, innovation and invention in delivery, and a jam-packed program bringing you the best and brightest speakers in the resuscitation world.
We are calling for scientific abstracts from all clinical specialities. All this with coverage and programming from Emergency Medicine Television (EMTV).
Join us at R@TH 2018 to experience the biggest and best multidisciplinary resuscitation conference in NSW and help us in our mission to save Australian lives.
In addition to our invited speakers, proposals for presentations are requested with the goal of providing more depth for important technical areas.
The program includes a wide range of interesting and useful activities designed to facilitate the exchange of ideas and information. Prospective authors are asked to submit for the following presentation categories:
- Oral presentations (20 minutes + 5 minutes Q&A)
- Poster presentations
- Workshop sessions
Presentations are invited from participants with interest in the following themes:
- Beyond ALS (e.g. sequential defibrillation)
- Toxicology (e.g. high dose insulin infusions)
- Airway and breathing
- Live SIM sessions
- Shock (innovation in cardiogenic shock, haemorrhaging etc)
- PTSD/wellbeing/debriefing, managing stress
- Disaster medicine (mass casualties, logistics)
- Cardiac arrest survivors
- Geriatric resus
- Sessions on human factors and to manage teams
- Free papers

NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTANCE
Notification of acceptance will be sent via e-mail to the submitting author by 10 August 2018. The Conference Managers will not be held responsible for abstract submissions not received via email or for submission errors caused by internet service outages, hardware or software delays, power outages or unforeseen events.

The presenting author will be required to register for the Conference in order to ensure his/her presentation(s) is included in the final program. The deadline for presenting author registration is 24 August 2018.
